Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Type: PRN (As Needed)

Job Summary:
We are seeking dependable and compassionate PRN Certified Nursing Assistant's (CNA) to join our team. This position offers flexible, as-needed scheduling to support staffing needs while providing quality care to our residents.

PRN staff play an important role in maintaining continuity of care and supporting the team during call-ins, high census, and schedule gaps.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide support with mobility, transfers, and repositioning
• Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
• Assist with meals, including feeding when necessary
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or mental condition
• Follow care plans and facility policies and procedures
• Provide respectful, compassionate, and resident-centered care

Qualifications:

• Current CNA certification in the state of Texas
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Dependable and adaptable to varying schedules
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Previous long-term care experience preferred, but not required

PRN Requirements:

• Must work a minimum of 1 shift per quarter to maintain PRN status
