Registered Nurse (RN)

Big Horn Rehabilitation and Care Center is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the long-term care unit at our beautiful skilled nursing facility. Big Horn Rehabilitation and Care Center is committed to providing high quality services so that every resident receives the care and attention that they need. The primary purpose of the position is to ensure the highest quality of resident care available, support staff, and establish a positive reputation in the community while delivering on the Eduro Healthcare values.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Registered Nurse (RN) care for residents
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments of residents and evaluate changes in condition to ensure appropriate interventions and care planning
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician and in accordance with facility policies and professional nursing standards
• Provide skilled nursing care including wound care, IV therapy (as permitted by state practice), tube feedings, suctioning, catheter care, and other complex nursing procedures
• Supervise, delegate, and provide clinical guidance to LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing personnel in accordance with state nurse practice acts
• Ensure care plans are developed, implemented, and updated based on resident assessments and interdisciplinary team input
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective resident care
• Accurately complete all required documentation, assessments, and clinical records in a timely manner and in accordance with regulatory standards

Skills and Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by Wyoming required
• BLS certification from the AHA required
