PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Speech Language Pathologists at Ashton Medical Lodge evaluate resident swallowing function and manage speech-language treatments across our 144-bed long-term care facility. You will work alongside our therapy team to design care plans and maintain daily documentation. The daily focus stays on direct resident care, practical treatment adjustments, and direct communication with nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct swallowing evaluations and speech-language assessments for facility residents.
• Create individualized care plans based on objective clinical assessments.
• Document daily therapy notes and progress reports within facility timeframes.
• Coordinate with occupational therapists and nursing staff regarding resident progress.
• Adjust therapy interventions to match resident progress and clinical needs.

Compensation, Schedule & Benefits

• Pay Rate: Starting at 50-55/hr based on experience, scaling up to $65/hr
• Schedule: PRN, approximately 15–20 hours per week (Monday–Friday preferred, with weekend flexibility)

Qualifications & Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the State of Texas
• Must pass a standard criminal background check
• Must pass a drug screening
• Reliable transportation for dependable attendance
