PRN X-Ray Technologist

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated PRN or Part time X-ray Technician to join our healthcare team. 2-3 days a month. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays to assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients in an orthopedic setting. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a medical setting. We handle motor vehicle accident and personal injury cases. This position requires a full license.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic evaluations using X-ray.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging results.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging findings.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations related to radiation exposure.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly.
• Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.
• Provide emergency medicine support as needed in critical situations.

Experience

• Proven experience as an X-ray Technician or in a similar role within a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
