Pro Shop Assistant

Skukuza Golf Club is looking for a friendly, service-driven and organised Pro Shop Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day operations of the Pro Shop, provide excellent service to members and guests, and ensure that the shop is well presented and efficiently managed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist members and guests with enquiries and purchases.
• Process sales and handle cash and card transactions accurately.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and assist with stock control.
• Receive, unpack and display merchandise.
• Keep the Pro Shop clean, organised and well presented.
• Assist with golf-related products and equipment enquiries.
• Maintain good customer relationships and provide a welcoming experience.
• Assist with general administrative duties within the Pro Shop.
• Ensure pricing and product displays are accurate and up to date.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Previous retail, customer service or hospitality experience will be advantageous.
• Previous experience in a golf environment will be advantageous.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Good numerical and cash-handling skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work weekends, public holidays and flexible hours.
• A passion or interest in golf will be advantageous.
