Problem Hunter — Field Storyteller Intern

About This Role You run the Problem Hunters Studio in the field. Each week you interview owners of clinics, pharmacies, SACCOs and SMEs about a real operational problem and how they fixed it, then cut it into shorts for TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. Every subject signs consent and approves the cut; nobody is shamed, and no patients or clinical areas are ever filmed. Every interviewee is offered a revenue-leak audit the same week, so your stories become pipeline.

We are prioritizing builders who are deeply curious, mission-driven, and excited to grow fast while solving real African healthcare problems.

What You'll Do

• Book and run 3 field interviews per week with signed consent forms
• Shoot and edit vertical shorts (30–90s) with captions in English and Kiswahili
• Get subject approval on every cut before publishing
• Log every story, its consent status and the leads it generates in the content tracker
• Hand every interviewee to a Field Closer for an audit offer

Requirements

• Shoots and edits vertical video on a phone (CapCut, VN, or similar)
• Curious, warm interviewer who makes people comfortable
• Understands that consent and privacy are non-negotiable
• Available for 2–3 field days a week in Nairobi

• A personal TikTok/IG with an audience
• Journalism, film, or communications studies
• Basic motion graphics
