Procedural RN Float (PRN)

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in a surgical environment, excluding pediatrics, focusing on psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care. Maintains communication with physicians regarding patient status, assists with equipment and inventory management, and ensures procedure rooms are ready with necessary supplies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient during procedures, assisting with positioning and support.
• Ensure all equipment functions properly and supplies meet team needs.
• Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality activities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Registered Nurse with licensure in the relevant state; BSN preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in cardiac, electrophysiology, or related fast-paced settings.
• Certifications in ACLS and CPR.
