What they need
We are looking for a Process Officer to support process analysis, modelling and documentation activities within a leading financial institution in Belgium.
The role will focus on analysing and improving business processes, ensuring proper documentation and alignment between business and IT teams. The candidate will contribute to the design, maintenance and optimization of end-to-end processes, including Incident Management processes and operational workflows.
Responsibilities:
Analyse and model existing business processes using process modelling techniques and methodologies;
Define and document end-to-end processes (AS IS);
Review, update and optimize existing processes;
Create and maintain process documentation and related documentation repositories;
Design and document Incident Management processes;
Create process flows, diagrams and functional documentation using tools such as Visio or ARIS;
Collaborate with Business and IT stakeholders to ensure process alignment and continuous improvement;
Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to the implementation of new solutions;
Ensure accuracy, consistency and quality of process documentation.
Profile wanted
Proven experience as a Process Officer, Process Analyst, Business Analyst or in a similar process-oriented role;
Experience with business process modelling techniques and methodologies;
Strong technical writing and documentation skills;
Good knowledge of process modelling tools (Visio, ARIS or equivalent) and flow chart creation;
Good understanding of workflow processes and process optimization;
Experience within the banking sector is highly appreciated;
Knowledge of card payment environments and new payment technologies (Google Pay, Android Pay, Payconiq…) is a strong asset;
Experience designing Incident Management processes is considered a plus;
Knowledge of card fraud and dispute processes is an advantage;
Previous experience at BNP Paribas Fortis is a plus;
Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills;
Structured, detail-oriented and quality-minded approach;
Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple stakeholders;
Fluent in French and Dutch, with strong English communication skills.
