What they need
About the Role
We're looking for an Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or Physics) graduate to join our capacitor manufacturing team in a hybrid role that blends factory-floor process improvement with hands-on client site work.
This is a true hybrid role: roughly 60% of your time is spent on our factory floor driving process enhancement and supporting our automation roadmap, and roughly 40% at customer sites conducting power quality audits and implementing solutions.
You'll bridge the gap between R&D and mass production which is helping new capacitor designs move smoothly into efficient, high-yield manufacturing while also representing us on-site with clients to solve real-world power quality issues.
What You'll Do : At the Factory (about 60%)
Process Enhancement & Automation
- Analyze, refine and optimize the capacitor manufacturing process, working closely with the Product Development team to ensure new designs can be produced efficiently on existing machinery.
- Build hands-on working knowledge of our factory floor machinery and equipment and this understanding is essential as we roll out new automation initiatives.
- Support pilot production runs, helping new products transition smoothly from lab to factory floor.
- Implement statistical process monitoring to track manufacturing stability, and support the QC Executive on root-cause analysis (CAPA) for non-conformances.
- Work with the Product Development Team to validate that new material combinations hold up under real production conditions.
- Support the Product Quality Team with backend work ie creating BOMs, tracking projects, analyzing and reporting data.
What You'll Do : At Customer Sites (about 40%)
Power Quality Auditing & Solutions
- Assist with on-site power quality audits using specialized analyzers to monitor harmonics, voltage sags, swells and transients. (Full training provided if you're new to this.)
- Support installation and commissioning of power quality solutions at client facilities, including post-implementation testing to confirm issues are resolved.
- Use design software to help create customized power quality solutions, verifying that proposed materials will hold up under the client's site conditions.
- Oversee on-site contractors to ensure installations meet IEC safety standards and project timelines.
- Translate technical findings into clear, ROI-focused reports for clients.
What You Need
Must-Have
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Physics.
- Genuine interest in both hands-on factory/process work and field-based technical problem-solving as this role is built for someone who enjoys variety and flexibility/
- Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites (including occasional outstation duties).
- Strong communication skills and able to explain technical findings clearly to colleagues, managers and clients.
- Curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
Nice-to-Have (we're happy to train the right candidate)
About 2 years' experience in product/process engineering or a power quality related field.
Exposure to power quality auditing, or CAD/simulation design software like MATLAB.
Familiarity with manufacturing floor machinery or automation projects.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary, health insurance, and support for professional development and career advancement.
- Modern, well-equipped facilities and a collaborative culture.
- Unlimited career path as seniority isn't the deciding factor here; several of our HODs are in their late 20s/early 30s.
- Structured training as every employee attends at least one training a year, and many HODs double as line trainers, so cross-department learning is part of the culture.
- A real voice in decision-making as we've implemented changes based on suggestions from staff from the production floor.
Other offers great for you!
