Process and Manufacturing Engineer

In this role, you will play a critical role in analyzing, designing, and improving our operational processes. You will work cross-functionally to increase efficiency, ensure quality, and support continuous improvement initiatives across our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and provide technical support to customer, production and QC.
• Coordinate and provide technical support to production and testing of new tooling.
• Carry out trouble shooting to reduce rejection at production.
• Follow up on tool modification after tool/machine test. (if required)
• To handle jig and fixture design for production.
• To do process improvement on production equipment and machinery.
• To support all R & D activities by using line technical know-how in development new product/ equipment/ machinery.
• Creating, documenting, developing and implementing procedures used to assemble, process, test and/or manufacture of the company’s products.
• Improve overall process development, scheduling, creating process documentation, product assembly and production processing, problem solving and program management.
• Follow up on quality systems procedures.
• Supervise environmental procedures implementation & compliance with records & evidences. (whenever applicable)
• Train subordinates on environmental procedures established. (whenever applicable)
• Ensure to implement effective 8D and FMEA system.
• Production Efficiency and Optimization: To analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to optimize production efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize costs. Responsible for managing production resources, such as labor, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal utilization.
• To reduce production downtime by strengthening production control, improving workflow coordination, and implementing timely corrective actions.
• Maintain production records, prepare reports on production performance, and provide regular updates to senior management on production status, issues, and improvements.
• Actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement in production processes, technologies, and methodologies, and implement best practices to drive operational excellence.
• Undertake other duties assigned by superior from time to time.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Engineering)
• Preferably with experience in process engineering and/or a manufacturing environment. Fresh graduates with a strong interest in process and manufacturing engineering are also welcome to apply.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with data analytics tools
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies
