Process & Operations Excellence Specialist (LCS)

About the role

Ben Line Group is undertaking a major transformation to standardize, optimize, and digitize its global forwarding operations, with a strong focus on process excellence, automation, and consistent execution across countries. The Process & Operations Excellence Specialist role is central to this effort, responsible for defining and governing a unified set of global forwarding processes and ensuring their effective adoption throughout the organization.

By developing and maintaining Global Processes, SOPs, and Work Instructions—both within and beyond CargoWise—the role will create a common operating model that improves service quality, operational control, and cost efficiency across all forwarding activities. Working closely with country teams, functional design and system teams, and key account stakeholders, the Specialist will drive process standardization while managing local deviations in a controlled way.

Leveraging process mapping, data-driven analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies, the role will identify gaps, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities, and convert them into tangible process and system enhancements. This will enable Ben Line Group to ensure compliance, increase transparency, and scale operations efficiently, ultimately delivering a more consistent customer experience and enabling sustainable operational performance across all locations.

Key responsibilities

• Document and maintain Global Processes, SOPs, and Work Instructions, covering processes inside and outside CargoWise.
• Guide countries to adopt Global Processes and document/manage local deviations.
• Develop Client/Key Account SOPs based on contractual and operational requirements.
• Conduct process audits to ensure compliance with Global Process Guidelines.
• Measure process efficiency and identify gaps, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
• Drive process optimization and automation with CargoWise Functional Design Team and other system teams.

About you

• Maritime Studies, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Strong freight forwarding and end-to-end operational knowledge.
• Process mapping, SOP development, and process improvement/audit experience.
• Good understanding of CargoWise or forwarding systems.
• Data analysis and process KPI measurement skills.
• Hands on experience with process document software: Visio, Draw.Io, Adonis, etc.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Able to influence and drive change across countries.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and strong ownership.
