What they need
Our journey, which began in 1979, has grown into a strong logistics network that delivers more than 1 million shipments daily across Türkiye, with 12 Regional Directorates, 29 Transfer Centers, nearly 1,000 branches, a fleet of 3,000 vehicles, and a team of 14,000 employees. As a subsidiary of Austrian Post, we continue our operations with international strength while investing in technology and innovation through Aras Digital, expanding beyond borders through Aras Global, and supporting the unifying power of sports through our Aras Kargo Women's Volleyball Team.
With our renewed identity, experience, and energy, we are setting our course toward the future. If you would like to grow, develop, and take a strong step forward in your career on this journey with us, we would be delighted to welcome you to our team
This role is part of a newly formed architecture function within the Business Solutions Directorate, covering three complementary disciplines: Enterprise Architecture, Application Architecture, and Process Architecture. This position is focused on Process Architecture: you will design, standardize, and govern end-to-end business process models across the organization, working within enterprise architecture principles rather than in isolation. You will build the process layer that connects business strategy to the application and technology landscape — ensuring that as new systems and platforms are introduced (including our SAP rollout and next-generation operational platform), the underlying processes are deliberately designed, not just inherited from legacy ways of working. You will work closely with the Enterprise Architect and Application Architect to keep process, application, and enterprise views consistent with one another.
Process Architecture & Design
- Define and maintain the enterprise process architecture: process landscape, process hierarchy/taxonomy, and value chain maps across business domains
- Model as-is and to-be business processes using BPMN 2.0 and a shared process repository
- Ensure process designs align with enterprise architecture principles and with the application and data architecture that will support them
- Lead process discovery and redesign workshops with business stakeholders across operations, customer service, and commercial functions
- Translate process designs into clear requirements that application and technology teams can act on
Governance & Standards
- Define and maintain process modeling standards, naming conventions, and a governance model for the process repository
- Own the process architecture review cycle, ensuring new or changed processes are captured, approved, and kept current as the business evolves
- Establish process ownership and accountability across business units
- Define process performance metrics (KPIs) and support their ongoing measurement
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with the Enterprise Architect and Application Architect to keep process, enterprise, and application views consistent and mutually reinforcing
- Partner with business leaders to ensure process designs reflect real operational constraints and priorities, not just theoretical best practice
- Support project teams during implementation to ensure delivered systems actually follow the intended process design
- Communicate process architecture decisions and trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Roadmap & Continuous Improvement
- Identify process inefficiencies, redundancies, and automation opportunities across the organization
- Contribute to the IT and business transformation roadmap from a process perspective
- Help build and mature the architecture practice within the Business Solutions Directorate
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in business process architecture, process management, or a related senior process/BPM role
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken — this role requires daily communication in English
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture concepts and how process architecture fits within them (e.g., TOGAF or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience with BPMN 2.0 and a process modeling/repository tool (e.g., Signavio, ARIS, Bizagi, Camunda, iGrafx, or equivalent)
- Proven ability to produce clear process architecture artifacts: process landscapes, value chain maps, and as-is/to-be process models
- Experience facilitating process discovery and redesign workshops with stakeholders across different business functions
- Solid understanding of process governance: standards, ownership models, and repository management
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, cargo, or e-commerce operations — familiarity with processes such as last-mile delivery, warehouse/route planning, and customer service is a strong advantage
- Experience with process mining tools (e.g., Celonis or equivalent)
- Lean, Six Sigma, or BPM certification (e.g., CBPP, OCEB)
- TOGAF certification or equivalent enterprise architecture certification
- Experience working alongside Enterprise Architects and Application Architects in a shared governance model
