Process Assistant Manager

About the role

Senawang Laminating Technologies is seeking a Process Assistant Manager to join our engineering team in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role within our process engineering operations. As Process Assistant Manager, you will be instrumental in optimising our manufacturing processes, improving operational efficiency, and supporting the continuous improvement initiatives across our laminating production facilities. This role bridges technical expertise and management responsibility, making it ideal for an experienced process engineer looking to develop their leadership capabilities.

Key responsibilities

1.     Responsible for yield and improve process capability

2.     Leading and managing a team of technical staff

3.     Manage and ensure project assigned deliverables within timely and budgetary

4.     Resolve technical challenges and perform root cause analysis on any quality and reliability issues encountered during the process run

5.     Optimize manufacturing processes, including increasing output, decreasing costs, and improving efficiency

6.     Manage, design and new product development

7 . Undertake other duties assigned by superior from time to time

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university.
2. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing operations, preferably in laminating, polymer processing, or similar industries.
3. Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop staff
4. Excellent problem-solving, technical and management skills.
