What they need

As part of Ford’s Manufacturing team, you’ll help deliver vehicles people use and love. We’re looking for Process Coaches / Production Supervisors to join our production teams and help make daily operations safer, more efficient and consistently high quality.

We have multiple openings and welcome candidates with different levels of experience. The scope and level of responsibility will be matched to each candidate’s background and capabilities during the recruitment process.

You’ll help connect production goals with the day-to-day work on the line. Working with colleagues in Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance and other areas, you’ll contribute to meeting the production plan while maintaining high standards for safety, quality and productivity.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Coordinating daily production activities, shift handovers and line start-ups.

  • Monitoring production and quality performance, identifying issues and helping resolve them promptly.

  • Promoting safe working practices and investigating safety concerns or incidents.

  • Supporting continuous improvement activities to reduce losses, address bottlenecks and improve processes.

  • Coordinating with Quality, Engineering and Maintenance to resolve production issues and prevent disruptions.

  • Helping maintain equipment, tools and work areas, and supporting first-level maintenance activities.

  • Contributing to new-model launches, process trials and production changes.

  • Supporting team training, development and engagement, and fostering a respectful, collaborative workplace.

  • Using production and quality data to identify corrective actions and improvement opportunities.

  • A university degree, technical qualification or equivalent experience; an industrial or technical background is an advantage.

  • Experience or interest in manufacturing, production, quality or industrial maintenance. Experience coordinating or supervising teams is valued, but we welcome candidates at different career stages.

  • Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • A focus on safety, quality, continuous improvement and results.

  • Working knowledge of, or interest in, improvement methods such as Kaizen, 8D, SPC, Lean or Six Sigma.

  • Intermediate English (B2).

  • Confidence using standard IT tools, including Excel and email.

  • Availability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, and to spend much of the working day on the production floor.

What we offer

  • The opportunity to contribute to an important project within a global automotive company.
  • Ongoing training and professional development.
  • Social benefits, which may include medical insurance, parental leave, support for work-life balance, vehicle discounts and training assistance.

Ford is an equal opportunity employer. We value an inclusive workplace and welcome applications from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
