Job Description

We are looking for a Process Control Software Engineer to join our Tech Vista – Engineering & Technology team. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving software and control solutions for industrial and food manufacturing processes.

You will work closely with Engineering, Production, Automation, IT, and business teams to develop smart process control solutions that improve production efficiency, process stability, quality, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Process Control Software and automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
• Develop and integrate PLC, SCADA, HMI, MES, IoT and industrial control systems.
• Develop software applications for monitoring, controlling, and optimizing production processes.
• Integrate data between machines, PLCs, SCADA/MES systems, databases, and business applications.
• Analyze production and process data to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Support the development of real-time monitoring, dashboards, alarms, and control systems.
• Troubleshoot software, automation, communication, and control system issues.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, conduct testing, commissioning, and system implementation.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, control logic, and software documentation.
• Support continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives across CPF manufacturing operations.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies related to Industrial Automation, AI, IoT, Digital Manufacturing, and Smart Factory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience in Process Control, Industrial Automation, Software Development, or Manufacturing Technology is preferred.
• Knowledge of one or more programming languages such as C#, C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, or SQL.
• Knowledge of PLC Programming, SCADA, HMI, MES, OPC UA/DA, Modbus, MQTT or other industrial communication protocols will be an advantage.
• Experience with database systems, API, data integration, or industrial data platforms is a plus.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, process control, instrumentation, or industrial automation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Production, IT, and Technology teams.
• Good communication skills and ability to communicate technical concepts with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Good command of English is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to CPF plants or project sites when required.
