What they need
We are seeking an experienced Process Design Support professional to join a global payroll transformation programme, providing functional expertise to support the implementation across the Baltic countries.
This role is ideal for someone with deep knowledge of payroll operations and HR processes who can bridge the gap between business requirements and system configuration. You will work closely with country payroll teams, implementation partners, and technical teams to ensure payroll processes are compliant, standardised, and aligned with both local legislation and global operating models.
Experience with payroll processes in the Baltic region (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania) would be highly advantageous.
Timeframe: October 2026 – January 2027
Location: Remote
How you can make an impact:
- Design and document payroll processes that align with global standards while meeting local legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the functional subject matter expert for payroll processes throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Work closely with the vendor development team to ensure system configuration accurately reflects business requirements.
- Co-own the development and execution of functional test plans, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and service rehearsals to validate system functionality.
- Provide expert guidance on payroll process and data-related issues, managing escalations to support agreed service levels during hypercare and transition to business-as-usual operations.
- Serve as a key point of contact for in-country payroll teams throughout the project, hypercare period, and ongoing operational support.
- Ensure payroll processes are appropriately adapted for local requirements while remaining aligned with the global payroll model.
- Support business readiness and the successful transition to new payroll processes and ways of working.
- Provide specialist expertise in HR operations and payroll processes to deliver efficient, compliant, and standardised solutions.
Our requirements:
- Proven experience in payroll process design, payroll operations, or payroll transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes and HR operations.
- Experience supporting payroll implementations, process harmonisation, or global transformation programmes.
- Knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements, ideally within the Baltic countries.
- Experience working with payroll system vendors and implementation teams.
- Hands-on experience with functional testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and service validation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into effective process and system solutions.
