Process Design Lead

Key Responsibilities

* Lead process design activities from basic engineering through detailed engineering and construction support.

* Develop and review Process Design Basis, PFDs, P&IDs, Heat & Material Balances and Process Datasheets.

* Perform/review process simulations, hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing and utility calculations.

* Review sizing and selection of vessels, columns, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers and process systems.

* Lead process safety studies including HAZOP, HAZID, SIL and relief/depressurization reviews.

* Review relief valve sizing, flare loads and process safeguarding requirements.

* Prepare/review process specifications, equipment datasheets and technical requisitions.

* Coordinate process interfaces with Mechanical, Piping, Instrumentation, Electrical, Civil and HSE disciplines.

* Review vendor documents and resolve process-related technical queries.

* Support commissioning, start-up, performance testing and troubleshooting activities.

* Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes and international engineering standards.

Qualification & Experience

* Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.

* 10–15 years of Process Engineering / Process Design experience.

* Strong experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical and EPC/EPCC projects.

* Strong knowledge of Aspen HYSYS / Aspen Plus or equivalent process simulation software.

* Good understanding of API, ASME, NFPA and relevant international standards.

* Experience in refinery process units, utilities and offsites will be preferred.

* Previous experience leading a process engineering team on major projects is highly desirable.

Pay: Rs250,000.00 - Rs350,000.00 per month
