Process Design Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Process Design Manager / Senior Process and Design Engineer to join our growing team. As a key member of our Process and Design Engineering division, you will play a crucial role in the design, development and implementation of our water treatment solutions. This is a full-time position based in Puchong, Selangor.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, engineering and development of complex water treatment processes and systems
• Conduct process analysis, modelling and optimization to enhance the efficiency and performance of our solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of process and design engineering with other disciplines
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, technical documentation, detailed calculations related to plant process design and prepare system operation & control
• Assist with the project implementation which include process related document preparation, technical clarification with client, new technologies implementation
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with relevant regulations, standards and safety protocols
• Work with Sales Department to design water and wastewater treatment system treatment plant, which include preparation of quotation and tenders specifications for submissions
• Coordinate and communicate with the site installation team, project team, clients and suppliers on matters pertaining to the technical aspects of the project

About you

• Process Design Manager: 6+ years of proven experience as a Process Engineer or Design Engineer in the water/wastewater treatment industry
• Senior Process Design Engineer: 3+ years of proven experience as a Process Engineer or Design Engineer in the water/wastewater treatment industry
• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Extensive knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, technologies and best practices
• Proficient in process design, modelling and simulation tools such as Winflows, Q+ or Wave
• AutoCAD is compulsory and other Microsoft Office applications
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and technical documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
