About the role

We are seeking a Process Development & Performance Analyst Manager (Accountant) to join our team on a full-time basis in Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a strategic position that plays a crucial role in enhancing our accounting operations and financial reporting capabilities. You will be responsible for analysing, developing, and optimising accounting processes whilst driving performance improvements across the finance function. This role combines technical accounting expertise with process improvement acumen, making it essential to our organisation's continued success and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement accounting processes and procedures that enhance efficiency and accuracy across the finance department
• Analyse existing accounting workflows to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of accounting processes, developing key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards for tracking and reporting
• Lead the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including variance analysis, budget reconciliations, and performance metrics
• Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements
• Conduct research on accounting best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies to keep processes current and compliant
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting operations and improve data integrity
• Provide training and support to accounting staff on new processes, systems, and procedural changes
• Prepare and present performance reports and recommendations to senior management
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, property management regulations, and internal policies

What we're looking for

• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) or substantial progress towards such qualification
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, with demonstrated expertise in financial analysis and reporting
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and property management accounting practices
• Proven experience in process improvement, business process management, or operational efficiency initiatives
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and recommend solutions
• Strong project management capabilities with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly
• Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end/year-end closing procedures
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and Microsoft Excel at an advanced level
• Preferred: Experience in property management or real estate accounting sectors
