What You Will Be Doing:

• Design and conduct laboratory-scale experiments to develop and improve chemical processes, including reactions involving specialized equipment and varying production scales.
• Help move new or improved products from the laboratory toward manufacturing by supporting scale-up, implementation, and troubleshooting activities.
• Evaluate laboratory and production information to understand process performance and recommend practical improvements.
• Partner with manufacturing and technical teams to investigate chemistry-related issues and help identify effective solutions.
• Contribute to technical projects through documentation, presentations, team meetings, training, and ongoing project communication.

What You Will Bring:

• Advanced education in Chemistry or a related discipline, or a bachelor's/master's degree combined with substantial industry experience.
• Hands-on experience developing chemical processes, performing synthesis, or improving manufacturing processes in an industrial environment.
• Familiarity with organic/industrial chemistry and reaction systems; experience involving fatty acids, hydrogenation, amines, or elevated-pressure processes is a plus.
• Ability to work safely with chemicals and laboratory equipment while maintaining a strong commitment to safe operating practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and data interpretation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and operational teams.
