Process Engineer (Chon Buri)

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, develop, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance product quality, cost, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Develop manufacturing processes based on product requirements and coordinate implementation with contract manufacturing partners.
• Analyze manufacturing workflows, equipment layouts, space requirements, and processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and support to contract manufacturing teams on process and product-related issues.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and process problems, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and contract manufacturers to resolve day-to-day manufacturing issues.
• Work closely with R&D/NPI teams to introduce new products into production and ensure smooth production ramp-up.
• Monitor product and process performance using statistical and analytical methods.
• Prepare manufacturing and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings, brainstorming sessions, and process improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate internal resources and contract manufacturing teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to minimize project risks.
• Provide technical training and guidance to technicians and manufacturing teams.
• Escalate critical manufacturing or project issues to management when required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Optics, Electronics, Semiconductor, Telecommunications, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Strong experience in problem analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Experience in product/process improvement and cost reduction.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process quality, and product development.
• Good understanding of statistical and analytical tools, including SPC, hypothesis testing, histograms, trend analysis, ANOVA, correlation, and statistical process analysis.
• Ability to collect and analyze data, identify root causes, establish corrective actions, and monitor their effectiveness.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex process and product development issues.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and contract manufacturing partners.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
