The Job This position drives to improve processes for production in all facets of operation through direct contributions of project development from conception though start-up. Optimize specific processes and projects. Troubleshoot processes, perform RCA’s, and implement countermeasures and corrective action via DMAIC methodology. Project design, development and management that are specific to the operations of an operating department. Conduct optimization assessments to identify existing and potential opportunities, propose solutions to improve performance primarily in the areas of energy, chemicals, product yields, and reliability. Support capital projects including control strategy development, P&ID management, administration of process control narratives suitable for control application development and process start up. Your Responsibilities

• Be the first person responsible for safety and environmental protection of the post and the work content for which they are responsible. Study and comply with safety and environmental protection related laws and regulations, company systems and operating procedures, and fulfill the safety and environmental protection production duties and job safety and environmental protection production responsibilities stipulated by law in their work.
• Shall receive education and training on production safety and environmental protection, master the knowledge of production safety required for their jobs, understand the risk factors, precautionary measures and emergency response to accidents that exist in their workplaces and jobs, improve their production safety skills, and enhance their ability to prevent accidents and deal with emergencies.
• In the course of their work, they should strictly implement their responsibilities for job safety and environmental protection, comply with the safety and environmental protection production rules and regulations and operating procedures of the organization, obey the management, and correctly wear and use labor protective equipment.
• If you find any hidden safety and environmental protection accidents or other unsafe factors, you should report them immediately and comply with the company's safety observation, attempted accident and accident reporting system.
• When discovering emergencies that directly jeopardize personal safety, they should stop work or evacuate the workplace after taking possible emergency measures. Reject unauthorized direction and forced risky operation.
• Execution and compliance with provisions of the company Quality and Food safety management system, GMP regulations, Legal and regulatory requirements, learn and master ADM food safety culture and knowledge.
• Oversight of specific processes and projects. Project management may require equipment selection and evaluate, equipment installation, budget tracking, employee training, and start-up support.
• Troubleshooting processes, performing root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing countermeasures and corrective actions using DMAIC methodology and continuous improvement tools.
• Apply data-based decision making to identify trends, drive improvements, and support performance monitoring initiatives.
• Assist in day-to-day operations, including shift coverage as needed, while continuously identifying opportunities for efficiency and reliability improvements.
• Design, develop, and manage projects aligned with operational goals, focused on enhancing safety, productivity, and sustainability.
• Conduct optimization assessments to identify existing and potential opportunities. Propose and implement solutions to improve performance in areas such as energy efficiency, chemical usage, product yields, and equipment reliability.
• Support capital projects including control strategy development, P&ID management, process control narrative administration, and process start-up planning.
• Train and mentor colleagues, with the potential of indirectly supervising around 30 hourly employees, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Reporting to Starch sweetener production manager directly. Your Profile
• Working experience in a multinational corporation (MNC) environment is preferred.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of logical analysis under pressure.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the corn starch, corn starch deep processing, or other agricultural processing industries.
• A bachelor's degree in Food Science and Engineering or related majors; those with relevant work backgrounds may have their requirements appropriately relaxed.
• Familiarity with the production process of starch sugar is preferred.
• Familiarity with production information systems, such as Maximo, is preferred.
• Those with relevant experience in production workshop work and management are preferred; familiarity with ISO9000, HACCP, and production management knowledge is preferred.
• Familiar with the latest food safety regulations.
• Good communication skills.
• (English Proficiency) Good English skills are preferred.
• Able to adapt to necessary business trips.
• Experience in capex management is preferred.
• Proficient in using office software, AutoCAD, and Project.
