Process Engineer

Responsibilities :

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for electronic components and connectors.

• Prepare and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Select, design, and maintain tooling, jigs, and fixtures to support efficient production operations.

• Conduct process validation and capability studies (Cp, Cpk) to ensure process stability and performance.

• Create and maintain product documentation, including drawings, bills of materials (BOM), and technical specifications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues to minimize downtime and improve production yield.

• Ensure all processes comply with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements.

• Support new product introduction (NPI) from prototype stage through to mass production.

• Lead initiatives for cost reduction, productivity improvement, and waste elimination.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers on process-related projects and improvements.

Requirement :

• Possess at least 5 years of experience in connector/interconnect manufacturing processes and be familiar with stamping, injection molding, and assembly processes (both automated and manual), which is critical to ensure high-quality production and process optimization.

• Demonstrate proficiency in China language, as all reporting, technical documentation interpretation, and daily communication with the Design Engineering team at China HQ and Mandarin-speaking technicians are required for accurate coordination, process transfer, and issue resolution.

• Be willing and able to travel frequently, both locally and internationally, particularly to China, to support production setup, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer.
