Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve production and assembly processes (SMT, Through-Hole, and hybrid) to enhance efficiency, quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI), including pilot runs, process validation, SOPs, and work instruction preparation.
• Conduct process control activities, PFMEA, root cause analysis, and support internal/customer audits.
• Monitor production KPIs such as yield, cycle time, defect rate, and productivity, and drive continuous improvement through Lean, 5S, and Kaizen.
• Support equipment and tooling setup, troubleshooting, calibration, and preventive maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields.
• 2–5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly environments.
• Knowledge of SMT, PCB assembly, soldering, or related electronic production processes.
• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with PFMEA/DFMEA, SPC, DOE, and problem-solving tools.
• Hands-on experience in equipment setup, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
• Knowledge of ISO, IPC, or other electronics industry standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
