Process Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain process documentation ensuring that processes and procedures are clearly stated and understandable for material handler.

• Monitor and report issues with material and material handling equipment.

• Monitor and report issues with and moulding equipment.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to material handler and technician.

• Must be able to work independently on new process development as well as troubleshooting current production issues.

• Facilitate and support facility and manufacturing safety, environmental, and ergonomics efforts.

• Investigate and resolve process issues, including defects, inconsistencies, and equipment malfunctions. Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.

• Maintain accurate records of process parameters, material specifications, equipment maintenance, and quality control data. Generate reports and presentations to communicate performance metrics, improvement initiatives, and recommendations to management.

• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional teams to drive innovation, cost reduction, and process optimization throughout the organization.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering or any equivalent education OR
• Have working experience more than 3 years in manufacturing injection moulding (plastic).
• Familiar with Moulding defect, plastic injection moulding process control and lean six sigma.
