Process Engineer

Position: Engineer/ CAD-CAM & Process Engineer

Responsibilities

1.Able to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, GD&T, CNC machine setup & process routing

2.Create CNC design solutions, machining programs, modify engineering layouts as per customers’ requirements

3.Develop efficient process plans for component manufacturing

4.Design tooling, fixtures and machining sequence to support production process

5.Generate engineering test reports and review engineering documentation

6.Communicate to production and engineers for necessary information

7.Troubleshoot a wide range of complex mechanical problems

8.Takes the lead in establishing and identifying product cost/ quality improvements

9.Document the CNC program and maintain the revision change according to the change management process

10.Interface with internal and external customers regarding wide range of complex mechanical issues for specific project

11.Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned

Qualifications

1.Professional certificate/ Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.

2.A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Semiconductor, Oil & Gas or Aerospace Engineering industry

3.Excellent knowledge in handling, programming and setting up of CNC machines

4.Proficiency in CAD software (i.e. Solidworks, UG)

5.Good understanding of CNC machining and programming using CAD/CAM

6. Able to read engineering drawings and good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)

 7.Good interpersonal skills
