Process Engineer

About the role

Sustain the High-Power Pulsed Laser build process to ensure product quality and on-time delivery. Own the product-building process in mass production, including assembly, alignment, and testing. Lead failure analysis and continuous-improvement activities for the assigned processes, including yield improvement, bone-pile reduction, and cost reduction.

Key responsibilities

• Sustain the High-Power Pulsed Laser build process to ensure product quality and on-time delivery
• Own the product-building process in mass production, including assembly, alignment, and testing
• Lead failure analysis and continuous-improvement activities for the assigned processes, including yield improvement, bone-pile reduction, and cost reduction
• Support problem-solving activities of moderate scope and complexity
• Execute established continuous-improvement methodologies, such as FMEAs, SDRs, A3s, and 3P activities
• Independently characterize and analyze laser systems

About you

• A minimum of a B.Sc. or B.Eng. degree in laser engineering, photonics, physics, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering, with more than five years of industry experience in electronics or optical-product manufacturing
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Jira, Agile, Confluence, and Miro is a plus
• A strong team orientation, with excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills, as well as a commitment to continuous improvement
• Self-motivated, with the ability to plan tasks and small projects and meet deadlines under tight project schedules
• Familiarity with common electronic and optical terminology
• Strong data-analysis skills; proactive, goal-oriented, and task-driven, with the ability to collaborate effectively
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Thai
• Flexibility in working hours to support conference calls
