Manufacturing Opportunity | Wax Process Engineer / Process Owner 📍 Oxford, AL (On-Site)

Salary: $100K-150K +10% + (Relocation Package)

A leading manufacturer serving highly regulated, precision-engineered industries is seeking a Wax Process Engineer / Process Owner to join its growing operation in Oxford, Alabama. This position serves as the technical owner of the wax pattern and wax mold assembly value stream, playing a critical role in ensuring process stability, dimensional accuracy, and product quality throughout manufacturing.

What You'll Do

• Own and optimize the wax pattern and wax mold assembly preparation process from incoming component validation through final assembly preparation

• Establish and maintain process controls for wax injection and assembly operations

• Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and drive root cause corrective actions

• Improve dimensional repeatability, reduce scrap, and enhance overall process capability

• Analyze production data, SPC metrics, and process trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality, operations, engineering, and production leadership

• Support tooling, fixture, and assembly process improvements to achieve operational excellence

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline

• 3+ years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment

• Experience with injection molding, polymer processing, or investment casting operations preferred

• Strong understanding of material behavior, thermal expansion, contraction, and process controls

• Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and optimize process parameters

• Experience utilizing data-driven problem-solving tools including SPC, Minitab, and Excel

• Knowledge of fixture design, assembly processes, and quality improvement methodologies
