Process Engineer

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to):

• Performs data collection, data organization, data analysis and data interpretation for problem solving, problem prevention and continuous improvement.
• Performs/conducts Process Mapping to identify/define input variables and output variables and variables of a process affecting quality characteristics of the product
• Performs Design of Experiment (DOE) to define and optimize process-machine parameter settings to ensure that required quality criteria is met, it is cost efficient and maintains target delivery or speed.
• Performs Machine Process Capability Study (MPCpS) to analyze if our process and machine can meet the product specification and target.
• Review, monitor and enhancement of Process control plan. Audits compliance of Production and Maintenance to the Process control plan. Verification, investigation and recommendation of Process related issues.
• Implements and monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodology to analyze common and special causes of variation due to materials, methods, man, machine, measurement system and environment.
• Initiate continuous improvement of process, best practices and innovative solutions and improve Production KPIs and quality output.
• Review and recommend improvement of Process FMEA.
• Development and implementation of Process FMEA
• Involvement in problem solving process or root cause analysis (RCA) in the production line. Review that identified root cause is correct, verified and validated.
• Support training and coaching sessions (all Plants and Support teams) - Quality and Problem Solving tools (Level 1 & 2), Lean Six Sigma, Supervisory and Leadership, Work Attitude Values Enhancement (WAVE), others.
