Process Engineer

Ovotherm is a European multinational and a category leader in packaging solutions for the egg industry.

We are embarking on an exciting journey to expand our footprint across Asia Pacific, and you are invited to join our critically important Production Team to support our growth ambition.

1. Overseeing Thermoforming & Labelling department, ensuring a smooth operation by managing a team, settling goals & priorities, monitoring performance, coordinating with other section to achieve overall organizational objectives.
2. Effectively monitor & plan production schedule and make necessary adjustment based on delivery forecast.
3. Manage and supervise production staff to achieve targeted outputs, quality standards and minimum wastages are met.
4. Ensure efficient allocation of resources, including manpower, equipment, raw materials etc.
5. Responsible to ensure daily production output are accurate and updated into company’s system.
6. Key person in resolving operational issues and collaborating with technical team in the event of process issue arises.
7. Conduct employee training and development to maintain skill levels.
8. To assist maintenance team to troubleshoot machine breakdown. work hand in hand with maintenance colleague to ensure machineries tools, spare parts are available & in good working condition.
9. Fully responsible to ensure team member adhere to all standard operation procedure, FSSC workflow/standard, safety & company regulation.
10. Responsible to ensure its department are fully compliance to FSSC 22000 standard and keeping the record updated from time to time.
11. Enforce safety regulation and procedure to maintain a safe working environment.
12. Address performance issues, provide feedback and implement discipline actions when necessary.
13. Abilities to multi-tasking and accept AD-HOC duties.
14. Able to and willing to work on shift.

• Process knowledge in Thermoforming Process is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of production processes and quality control methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork.
• Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs.

Experience

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in production (Thermoforming Process) is an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience in mechanical work.
• Experience in mold maintenance would be an added advantage.
