Process Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the design and optimization of injection molding processes for new projects, determining process parameters, and preparing process documentation.
2. Lead mold debugging, trial runs, and production issue analysis; propose long-term improvement plans and track implementation results.
3. Based on existing workforce to do production manpower planning
4. Feedback and react if any production abnormal issues
5. Quality Assurance control and verification on daily production output.
6. Maintains production 5S and disciplinary management
7. Manage to control the production progress to ensure the delivery on time.
8. Production analysis and review
9. Work order closing and work report management
10. Review of achievement status from various production targets
11. Manage a molding technology team of 2–3 people and provide technical guidance on process parameters and mold-related issues.

Requirements:

1. Experience working in a plastic injection molding factory or plastic injection mold factory, with 3 years of experience in injection molding process debugging or equipment operation. Must have hands-on experience in adjusting machine parameters such as pressure, speed, and temperature.
2. Minimum 3 years of process engineering experience in 3C products (e.g., imaging devices, laptops, smartphones, and other consumer electronic products).
3. Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay.
4. Education: Diploma/Bachelor's degree and major in Mechanical Engineering
5. More than two years of factory work experience, familiar with production-related equipment, tooling maintenance, electronic circuit development, or 2D/3D drawing capabilities.
6. Other Requirements: Experience in independently designing and introducing at least 10 tooling items into the production line.
