PROCESS ENGINEER

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline mainly on Aeronautical/ Mechanical/ Manufacturing; or any related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with basic knowledge on aerospace, production and technical specifications.
• Additional knowledge on Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Minitab Design Software (e.g. CATIA, AutoCAD etc.)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provide technical support to resolve production issues related to composite lay-up, bonding, curing, machining, painting, and mechanical assembly.
2. Monitor process performance and take corrective/preventive actions to maintain quality and delivery.
3. Ensure First Pass Yield (FPY) of processes on product related to meet department’s target.
4. Ensure high/great accuracy of direct and indirect material’s usage used in production compared to Bill of Materials (BOM) generated by Manufacturing Engineer (ME).
5. Analyze trend or chronology of issues, based on data collected/provided by quality personnel, in narrowing down the root cause finding process.
6. Lead or be actively involved in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities to reduce the cost of final products through optimizing manufacturing flow, processes, headcount, materials and equipment efficiency.
7. Develop, review, and update manufacturing process documents (Work Instructions, SOPs, Process Flow).
