Job Overview

• Location: First Philippine Industrial Park IV (Formerly First Industrial Township) – Special Economic Zone (FPIP IV-SEZ), Tanauan City, Batangas
• Reports To: Section Lead & Section Manager

Under the supervision of the Section Lead, the Process Engineer is responsible for controlling and monitoring production processes, supervising process operators and material handlers, and ensuring maximum operational efficiency. This role ensures proper resource utilization (raw materials, utilities, supplies, man-hours) while strictly enforcing safety protocols, food safety, and quality control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Production & Process Monitoring: Monitor and control day-to-day production processes according to standard procedures, operating instructions, and process records. Inspect equipment, report operational abnormalities, and prepare turnover reports for shift relievers to ensure continuous workflow.
• Team Supervision: Directly supervise Process Operators and Material Handlers to deliver target outputs safely, on time, and up to quality standards. Conduct safety orientations for new hires.
• Utilities & Maintenance Coordination: Inspect machinery, coordinate repair requests with maintenance/utilities, and assist during planned shutdowns to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Quality, Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety policies, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Integrated Management System (IMS), 5S/6S, and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines.
• Documentation & Continuous Improvement: Prepare pre- and post-production documentation, draft IMS-compliant work instructions, lead non-conformity investigations, and implement corrective/preventive action plans.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• License & Certification: Licensed Engineer (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical) or Certified Plant Mechanic is a strong advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in facilities, utilities, or process engineering within a manufacturing setting (Food, Personal/Home Care, Industrial, or Semiconductor preferred). Supervisory experience (2+ years) is preferred.
• Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity operating/managing pumps, motors, reactors, heat exchangers, weighing machines, vacuum pumps, SCADA systems, filling machines, or prilling towers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php22,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
