Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist NPI Engineers in developing process drawings and manufacturing processes for new products.
2. Improve process capability, productivity, production volume, and quality.
3. Prepare and maintain engineering documents such as FMEA, PCP, WI, PI, process drawings, and process standards.
4. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet customer requirements and specifications.
5. Provide technical support to production, including jig, fixture, tooling, and process troubleshooting.
6. Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance quality.
7. Create and modify CAD/CAM cutting programs for sheet metal production.
8. Review new projects and provide feedback on design, process limitations, mass production suitability, and process capability.
9. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to resolve technical and process-related issues.
10. Support Continuous Improvement (CI), 5S, and other improvement activities.
11. Manage assigned projects and ensure timely completion of project requirements.
12. Perform other duties assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in process, manufacturing, or NPI engineering, preferably in the sheet metal industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM, manufacturing processes, jig & fixture, FMEA, PCP, and process documentation.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.
