Job Opening: Process Engineer

Work Location: Penang

Salary: RM2,800 – RM3,600 (Based on Experience)

K Elite Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated and technically strong Process Engineer to support our process utility and factory hook-up projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in engineering design, project execution, testing and commissioning, as well as strong coordination skills in managing clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders within semiconductor or industrial environments.

What you'll be doing

• Design and develop process utility systems including UHP gas, chemical, CDA, vacuum, and exhaust systems.
• Perform engineering calculations, equipment sizing, and technical evaluations.
• Monitor project workflows and identify opportunities for process optimization.
• Coordinate project execution, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Troubleshoot process utility issues and provide engineering solutions.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout project execution.

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
2. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
3. Experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical or industrial utility projects is an advantage.
4. Familiar with AutoCAD and engineering design software, , or relevant process simulation software.
5. Good communication and problem-solving skills.
6. Willing to travel to project sites within Penang, Kulim, and other project locations.
7. Proficiency in Mandarin and the ability to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients, vendors, and stakeholders will be an added advantage.
