PROCESS ENGINEER

• Monitor production equipment performance, conduct regular testing and ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are completed.
• Monitor and optimize production processes to achieve efficiency, productivity and quality targets.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to Production Technicians during equipment or process issues.
• Collect, analyse and interpret process data, including CPK and other process performance indicators, and prepare technical reports.
• Present process performance, improvement activities and technical reports to management.
• Support the installation, commissioning and setup of new equipment and production lines.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure equipment and processes comply with applicable safety and quality requirements.
• Continuously evaluate equipment and processes and implement improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency and quality.
• Coordinate and monitor preventive maintenance programs, including monthly/quarterly and annual maintenance activities.
• Support the testing and validation of products and sub-assemblies to ensure functionality and quality requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate records of machines, equipment and spare parts inventory.
• Support new product introduction (NPI), including equipment selection, line setup and production readiness.
• Prepare, review and update process documentation, including SOP, PM1, PM2, PM3 and related work instructions.
• Support the development and improvement of new processes using simulation and statistical analysis tools such as Minitab.
• Assist in preparing and monitoring the maintenance and technical budget.
• Ensure all required process and equipment documentation is properly maintained and complies with internal and external requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in process engineering, manufacturing or a related field.
• Experience in production equipment, process improvement, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of CPK, process analysis and Minitab will be an advantage.
• Good problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.

Able to work independently and effectively coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Quality and other departments.
