Process Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our team and support the design, optimization, and execution of upstream Oil & Gas projects. The ideal candidate will have strong process engineering expertise, experience in EPC environments, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality engineering solutions in compliance with international standards, project schedules, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and optimize process schemes for Oil & Gas facilities based on client requirements, product specifications, and cost considerations.
• Perform process simulations, engineering calculations, process optimization studies, and troubleshoot design challenges.
• Size and specify process equipment and utility systems during proposal and project execution phases.
• Prepare and review key process engineering deliverables, including:
• Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
• Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
• Heat & Mass Balance calculations
• Process Datasheets
• Equipment Specifications
• Cause & Effect Diagrams
• Control and Shutdown Philosophies
• Operation & Maintenance Manuals
• Conduct depressurization studies, flare network analysis, and equipment sizing calculations.
• Review vendor and subcontractor documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Support HAZOP reviews and closure of action items.
• Provide technical support during construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and operational troubleshooting activities.
• Participate in site visits, engineering reviews, client meetings, and technical discussions.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Previous experience with:
• EPC Contractors
• Engineering Consultancies
• Oil & Gas Operating Companies
• Strong experience in Upstream Oil & Gas Process Engineering .

Technical Expertise

• Process simulation and process optimization.
• Equipment sizing and selection.
• Flare and depressurization studies.
• Process calculations and design reviews.
• Development and review of process engineering deliverables.
• Knowledge of international codes, standards, and good engineering practices.
• Experience supporting commissioning, start-up, and operations teams.
