Role & responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor degumming, neutralization, bleaching, deodorization and fractionation processes.
- Achieve production targets and optimize yield.
- Lead shift operators and coordinate with maintenance, quality and utilities.
- Maintain process parameters and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Prepare shift reports and maintain operational records.
Technical Skills Required
- Knowledge of edible oil refining processes.
- Experience with DCS/SCADA/PLC operations.
- Understanding of pumps, heat exchangers, filters, centrifuges and vacuum systems.
- Root cause analysis and process troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of utilities
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Oils Technology or related field.
