Process Engineer

About the role

This is a Process Engineer position responsible for using SolidWorks to perform 3D modeling, create engineering drawings, design component assemblies, and modify designs as required. You will prepare dimensions and Bill of Materials (BOM) based on engineering drawings for machining processes and valve manufacturing, and coordinate with Production, Welding, and Machining departments to verify drawings, ensure manufacturability, and manage drawing revisions.

Key responsibilities

• Use SolidWorks to perform 3D modeling, create engineering drawings, design component assemblies, and modify designs as required
• Prepare dimensions and Bill of Materials (BOM) based on engineering drawings for machining processes and valve manufacturing
• Coordinate with Production, Welding, and Machining departments to verify drawings, ensure manufacturability, and manage drawing revisions
• Maintain engineering drawing records and control document versions to ensure the use of the latest approved documents
• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance production efficiency, dimensional accuracy, and product quality
• Ensure engineering drawings, technical specifications, and BOMs comply with product requirements, applicable standards, and production needs
• Provide technical support to resolve design issues, dimensional discrepancies, and manufacturing or assembly problems
• Maintain technical documentation and engineering change records to support work standardization, traceability, and continuous improvement

About you

• Minimum D3 (Associate Degree) in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field
• Mandarin proficiency is required for work coordination
• Proficient in SolidWorks, with the ability to independently perform 3D modeling, create engineering drawings, and modify designs
• Knowledge of dimensioning, dimensional tolerances, technical drawing interpretation, and Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation
• Basic understanding of machining processes, mechanical component manufacturing, and product assembly
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work independently and in a team, and adaptable to a factory environment and production targets
