Process Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineer to support and improve manufacturing operations through process development, equipment optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Process Engineer will play a key role throughout all stages of the manufacturing process, from researching and implementing new technologies to optimizing existing equipment and workflows to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.

This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a hands-on engineering mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively with production teams, technicians, and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Support Process Technicians and production teams by troubleshooting equipment and process issues.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret production and process data.
• Develop and present technical reports, recommendations, and findings to management and customers.
• Coordinate the installation, startup, and validation of new equipment.
• Conduct process evaluations and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain product quality.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering, safety, and process standards.
• Assist in process simulations, testing, and validation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline required.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Production Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience improving manufacturing processes and resolving production challenges.
• Experience supporting equipment installation, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Experience with CAD and/or AutoCAD software.
• Knowledge of process simulation tools and methodologies.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and process-related standards.
• Strong technical, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience.
• Experience in automated manufacturing environments.
• Project management experience related to equipment or process improvements.
