Process Engineer (Digital Power Supply and Electronic)

Our client is an established digital power supply and electronics manufacturer (operating as an OEM/ODM) that specializes in high-performance power supply units (PSUs), energy storage hardware, inductors, and specialized electronic components for data centers, telecommunications, computing infrastructure, and industrial applications.

Job Summary

The Process Engineer (PE) is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production, high product quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role supports New Product Introduction (NPI), pilot runs, and mass production by establishing standard processes, resolving technical issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, the PE collaborates with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain) to enhance process stability, improve yield, maintain ISO compliance, analyze production data, and enforce safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes to maximize production efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness.
2. Lead and support New Product Introduction (NPI), pilot runs, and smooth transitions into mass production by setting up standardized process flows.
3. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical process issues to minimize downtime and improve overall production yield.
4. Analyze production data to implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for process stability.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain) to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with ISO, safety, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Language Capability: Mandarin speaking, writing, and reading capability will be added advantage.

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.

• Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Process Engineer (PE) within an electronics manufacturing environment.

• Technical Knowledge & Skills:

  • Solid understanding of core Process Engineering principles and switching power supply principles.
  • Hands-on experience with NPI, pilot runs, and mass production transfers.
  • Familiarity with switching power supply manufacturing processes and safety/regulatory compliance standards.

• Training & Certifications: Knowledge or training in FMEA, Quality Management, 7S, ESD, ISO 9001, QC 080000, ISO 14001, and Safety Awareness.
