Process Engineer - FFS Sheet

Manufacturing process control: ensuring the control and continuous optimization of polymer transformation processes to guarantee production stability, productivity, and repeatability. Quality improvement: analyzing results, identifying deviations, and proposing and implementing corrective and preventive solutions to meet customer requirements and international standards. Research and Development (R&D): collaborating with the R&D team to develop new products, adapt formulations to market needs, and support technical innovations. Customer technical support: assisting our customers during trials, validations, and implementation of plastic sheets on their FFS lines; providing consulting and problem-solving support. Continuous improvement projects: actively contributing to Lean Manufacturing initiatives, cost reduction, yield improvement, and scrap reduction. Mentoring and knowledge transfer: training, raising awareness, and supporting production teams on best process practices. Safety and environment: ensuring compliance with HSE standards and promoting a culture of safety and sustainable development. International availability: working with our international clients and partners, with the possibility of occasional assignments abroad.

Desired Candidate Profile

Engineering degree in plastics processing, industrial engineering, chemical engineering, polymer materials, or a related field. Proven experience of 5+ years in polymer processing, preferably in packaging or plastic films/sheets. Expertise in process analysis tools and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, SPC). Strong technical and R&D project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and clients. Innovative, autonomous, and proactive. Fluency in French is required; technical English is highly desirable. Willingness to travel internationally (occasional travel).
