What they need
- Operates processing units.
- Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job safety analysis.
- Generates written report of significant events that occurred during assigned shift and delivers to supervisor.
- Completes and submits all required shift records.
- Maintains housekeeping above and cleanliness of the area.
- Coordinate production startups, shutdowns and changeovers.
- Responsible to meet shift production goals.
- Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications.
- Inspect equipment or units to detect leaks and malfunctions, and monitor operating conditions - shutting equipment down if necessary.
- Monitor gauges, recording instruments, flow meters, or products to ensure that specified conditions are maintained.
