Process Engineer (Injection & Blow Molding)

About the role

Process Engineer role focused on optimizing molding process parameters in injection and blow molding manufacturing to achieve quality, productivity, and efficiency targets.

Key responsibilities:

• Optimize molding process parameters to achieve quality, productivity, and efficiency targets.
• Troubleshoot production defects and implement corrective actions.
• Support mold trials, maintenance, and tooling improvements.
• Drive cycle time reduction and continuous improvement (Kaizen) activities.
• Coordinate machine and auxiliary equipment maintenance.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, Work Instructions (WI), and process parameter standards.
• Monitor quality performance, reduce scrap, and conduct root cause analysis using 8D and 5 Why methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Plastics, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in Plastic Injection Molding or Blow Molding manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement skills.
• Familiar with quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why.
