Process Engineer – Laser Marking Process (F/M)

Responsibilities

• Support the launch of new projects involving laser marking processes.
• Define, optimize, and monitor laser marking parameters to meet quality requirements.
• Analyze process performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Revalidate processes after equipment modifications or interventions.
• Adjust and maintain laser equipment process settings.
• Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standards.
• Train operators on laser equipment and process requirements.
• Lead root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Propose and implement improvements related to quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
• Monitor and report process KPIs.

Candidate Profile

• Engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Automation, or similar).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Process Engineer in the automotive industry.
• Experience with laser marking systems is an advantage.
• Good English and/or German skills.
• Knowledge of quality tools (5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC).
• Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D technical drawings.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methods.
