Process Engineer - Logistics and Warehouse Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Process Engineer to design, improve and optimize warehouse and contract logistics operations. The role will be responsible for warehouse process improvement, layout planning, solution design, system implementation and continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with Operations, IT, Engineering and Business Development teams to develop efficient and cost-effective logistics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage logistics and warehouse improvement projects from planning through implementation.
• Design and optimize warehouse layouts, storage capacity and material flow.
• Analyse existing warehouse processes and identify opportunities for productivity and cost improvement.
• Develop SOPs, process maps and workflow documentation.
• Support new warehouse start-ups, business implementations and operational transitions.
• Evaluate manpower requirements, warehouse equipment and storage systems.
• Support warehouse solution design, capacity planning and process optimization.
• Work closely with IT teams to ensure WMS, ERP and logistics systems support operational requirements.
• Participate in system testing, UAT, process validation and system implementation.
• Monitor project timelines, milestones and deliverables.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in process engineering, warehouse engineering, contract logistics or supply chain operations.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management and logistics processes.
• Experience in warehouse layout design, facility planning and workflow optimization.
• Good knowledge of Contract Logistics / 3PL operations and solution design.
• Experience with WMS, ERP or other logistics systems.
• IT-savvy with an understanding of system integration, digitalization, automation and warehouse technology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
