Process Engineer, NPI @East - AWS & VB / Manufacturing (Server & Rack Assembly)

Company Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detailed NPI Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Tampines. In this role, you will lead and drive New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, managing the transition of new products from prototyping to full-scale mass production while optimizing quality, assembly processes, and packaging standards.

Job Highlights

• Salary Range: $4500 – $5600 / month
• AWS & Variable Bonus (VB)
• Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Location: Tampines

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and drive all New Product Introduction (NPI) activities within the plant, ensuring a seamless transition from prototype stage to mass production.

• Coordinate across internal cross-functional teams, suppliers, customers, and HQ/factory partners to fulfill product introduction and packaging requirements.

• Create, review, and modify Bills of Materials (BOM) structures for assembly processes.

• Apply in-depth technical knowledge of server and rack assembly processes to support product development and production readiness.

• Lead or assist in rack packaging design, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, quality, and transportation safety.

• Provide hands-on production support during mass production runs and resolve process issues to maintain yield and quality.

• Maintain Shop Floor Control (SFC) systems and SAP processes for accurate production tracking and records.

• Lead process improvement projects through Kaizen and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Participate actively in internal and external ISO audits to ensure strict compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline.

• Familiarity with BOM creation/management, Shop Floor Control (SFC) systems, and SAP.

• Practical understanding of server/rack assembly and packaging design.

• Exposure to ISO audit compliance and continuous improvement (Kaizen).
