Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer with expertise in New Product Introduction (NPI), Industrial Engineering, and Assembly Processes to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for new products, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across assembly operations.

Responsibilities:

1. New Product Introduction (NPI)
     - Lead the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for new products from prototype to production.
     - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Design, Production, Quality) to ensure smooth NPI process.
     - Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and capacity planning for new product lines.

2. Industrial Engineering
     - Analyze and optimize existing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality.
     - Design and implement process improvements, including layout changes, automation, and workflow enhancements.
     - Perform time and motion studies, develop labor standards, and optimize resource utilization.

3. Assembly Process Optimization
     - Develop and refine assembly processes to meet production goals and quality standards.
     - Implement strategies for assembly line balancing, workstation design, and ergonomic improvements.
     - Ensure proper tooling, fixtures, and equipment are in place to support efficient assembly operations.

4. Process Documentation and Standardization
     - Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including work instructions, SOPs, and control plans.
     - Establish and enforce process standards to ensure consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements.

5. Continuous Improvement
     - Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
     - Lead or participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for process-related issues.
     - Identify opportunities for cost reduction and productivity improvement within assembly operations.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration
     - Work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve technical issues and drive operational excellence.
     - Provide technical support and training to production personnel on new assembly processes and equipment.

 Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field). 
• 5+ years of experience in process engineering, with a strong emphasis on NPI, industrial engineering, and assembly processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Simul8) and ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to apply statistical methods for process optimization.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Required language(s), Bahasa Malaysia, English (is a must).
