Process Engineer - Operations (Singaporean only/West/Chemical)

Responsibilities:

• Analyse and assess existing processes, collect measurements and interpret data, including SCADA system operations, in support of the company’s digitalization initiatives.
• Conduct process and operational risk assessments.
• Research, design and develop processes to enhance productivity, efficiency and workflow.
• Monitor and oversee the operation and maintenance of facility processes.
• Establish and determine the appropriate organization and setup of operations.
• Coordinate and oversee the implementation of new processes and procedures.
• Identify, investigate and troubleshoot issues related to processes, procedures and operations.
• Develop best practices, standard routines and innovative solutions to improve throughput, efficiency and output quality.
• Monitor and manage project cost and time constraints.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation, work instructions and operating procedures.
• Participate in and support PSM and HAZOP studies.
• Act as the turnkey manager to plan, coordinate and execute plant shutdown activities.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of process industry experience.
• Strong working knowledge of process-related standards, Process Improvement, and Safety Management.
• Team-oriented and dynamic.
