Process Engineer (PCB Manufacturing)

Location: Apex Green Industrial Estate, Plaeng Yao, Chachoengsao

Job Responsibilities

1. Monitor, control, and improve PCB manufacturing processes to ensure product quality, production efficiency, and process stability.

2. Responsible for process engineering activities in one or more PCB manufacturing processes, including:

   • Inner Layer: Imaging, Developing, Etching, Stripping, AOI
   • Lamination / Hot Press: Brown Oxide, Lay-up, Pressing
   • Drilling: Mechanical Drilling, Laser Drilling
   • Plating: Desmear, PTH, Electroless Copper, Electroplating, Pattern Plating
   • Outer Layer: Imaging, Developing, Etching, Stripping, AOI
   • Solder Mask / PSR: Coating, Exposure, Developing, Curing
   • Plugging: Via Filling, Resin Plugging
   • Surface Finish: ENIG, OSP, HASL, Immersion Tin / Silver
   • Routing / Profiling: CNC Routing, V-Cut, Punching
   • Electrical Test (ET): Flying Probe, Fixture Test, Open / Short Test

3. Analyze production defects, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

4. Improve process parameters, production yield, cycle time, and manufacturing efficiency.

5. Investigate process abnormalities and provide technical support to Production and Quality teams.

6. Prepare and update process documentation, including Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and process control standards.

7. Support new product introduction (NPI), trial production, and process validation activities.

8. Coordinate with Production, Quality, Equipment, and other Engineering teams to resolve manufacturing issues.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related fields.
2. Experience in PCB manufacturing or process engineering will be an advantage.
3. Knowledge or hands-on experience in at least one PCB manufacturing process is preferred.
4. Understanding of process control, yield improvement, defect analysis, and root cause analysis.
5. Familiarity with problem-solving tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, SPC, FMEA, or 8D is an advantage.
6. Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
7. Able to communicate in English; Chinese communication skills will be an advantage.
8. Fresh graduates with relevant technical knowledge and a strong interest in PCB manufacturing may be considered for entry-level positions.

Note: Candidates with experience in any specific PCB manufacturing process are welcome to apply. Experience in all processes is not required.
